Mid Term Tests are over and today officially marks the start of my freedom, albeit temporarily. Furthermore, the prelude to my liberalization have brought along a couple of outings that everyone so needs as a breather. Catching up with friends is awesome, especially if you gain extra physical exercises which are so deprived.
Yesterday was the 39th STUDENT COUNCIL SMEXCO SENTOSA OUTING, 081208,
which was awesome by the way, even though it was raining throughout the day. So, met Weisheng, Tabitha, Hanlu and Aloysius at Bedok Train Station at 9.20am to take the EW train to Outram, after which we switched trains to go HarbourFront, where we met Cherlyn and Rachel.

We then had brunch at Subway (eat fresh) and was joined by Victor and Leonard. Then we went upstairs to take the monorail but was fairly disappointed when we saw the rain, so we decided to wait for Daryl, hoping the rain would clear up a bit, which so did not happen.

Went to Palawan Beach and played Captain’s Ball (in the rain) with the VJC volleyball Weisheng brought.

Play play play and victor hit hanlu (or the other way round) accidentally on the forehead with his elbow.
Major Contusion wound.
We then went to Siloso Beach for varied reasons (which I can’t remember) and found an awesome white tent where we dumped our stuffs and played circle volleyball (everyone standing in a circle and playing volleyball, DOH). And it was still raining by the way. All of us are soaked and my hair was FLAT and WET. And it was fun, although we spent more time picking up the ball than actually passing it from one to another. It wasn’t easy, but I think we all got better as the time goes by.

So, some when during the game, Nalina, Bryan , Shiya and Crystal arrived and we continued our Volleyball Bonanza before switching to Captain’s Ball (again) but this time, we had no chairs to stand on. I think I was pretty noisy because Victor (again) keep hitting my face when he throw the ball, haha.

Switched back to Volleyball, but this time in the Line version (6 on each side) before they switched to Beach soccer which I have no idea what it is about because they keep yelling facetiously at Crystal to touch the ball before it rolls into the goal, which was depicted by a small rectangle they drew at the end of each court.

Bathed, took more pictures went home since I had family dinner ( which was so boring I zoned out for 3hours.)

I can’t wait till 20th December, i.e. 39th SMEXCO Christmas Gathering
P.S. This has to be the most vigourous activity I had since 2 month ago.
Damm.. I should have totally skipped school yesterday..
When i reached the one school hill, the teachers are having their walk out of the hall.
Then again, there’s still BUFFET! Or so i thought.
In place of the pretty buffet table i visualized, was a pathetic excuse for a table of food…
Apparently, the councillors had different visualizations from mine…
I mean, their main agenda after the investiture was to swarm and surge at the buffet table, leaving the poor councillors from other school to fend for themselves.. That’s fine though, they’ve probably never seen the REAL AHS council investiture BUFFET.. Probably thanks to the NEW council teacher in charge. Poor sods.. Haha.. okay, I’m so mean.. whatever.. It’s a gloomy day and i need to channel outwards my distress.
Anyway, the 39th SMEXCO were pretty cool.. I mean, after knowing each other for so many years, there’d no need for us to retain certain images. We can behave crazily and rekindle the kid in us.. Haha, really, i don’t remembering laughing and yaking so much.. since forever..actually, it was since March… I mean, it was pretty much soothing, cuz they don’t judge, and they say or do things that makes others feels so comfortable.. intentional or not… I mean, if we ever behave like that in SP, we’d be laughed at or teased so badly..
Some of them had trainings so they left, leaving the rest of us. Some of us went my house and the others went home. we had a dry swim, aka mahjong(Still my favourite activity after so many years) and the rest gathered around the telly watching the fishball drama.. It was like chalet i guess.. Haha.
Then we went down to 85 to have dinner.. I had a sandwich before going down so i drank only sugarcane(SP doesn’t sell them!!) After much mindless chatting that digressed out original discussion of the next outing, we went home.. Kinda in groups…
Everyone, you’re missed.. Well, maybe except you.
